If you want to increase the readership for your email newsletter make sure you’ve ticked all the boxes on this 8-point check list:

1) Have your subscribe box featured prominently throughout your website
2) Test to make sure the sign up form is functioning properly
3) Only ask for information that will be used to personalise the newsletter. 
4) Include an informative sentence describing what you will send, and how often
5) Include a link to the current edition of the newsletter
6) Allow subscribers to select html or text formatting
7) Include a link to your privacy statement (required by legislation)
Don’t forget to have your subscribe box in every issue of the newsletter
